Disclaimer – dun dun dunn!

You should know:

a) I am not a:

doctor (I don’t even play one on tv)

veterinarian

nurse

naughty nurse

phlebotomist (though it is fun to say!)

or any other thing having to do with the medical field.

b)  It is not the intention of this blog to treat/diagnose:

restless leg syndrome

bubonic plague

lycanthropy

trigger thumb

hairy tongue (yeah, it’s real — check it out)

or any symptoms or diseases real or imagined.

c) It is the intention of this blog to:

document my personal health and fitness story

share my thoughts, rants, ruminations, bright ideas,  not-so-bright ideas, and inspirations

share (but perhaps not encourage) my daily workouts

d) Edit: As of June 2013, I am a NASM certified personal trainer.  That being said, the fact that anyone doing my workouts are doing so at their own risk has not changed. I am not a certified personal trainer but I am in the midst of studying for that certification so any workouts that I post are mine and mine alone.  If anyone wants to try my workouts it is at their own risk.

f) As with any and all health related who-si-whats-its and thingy-ma-jiggers:

Always consult with a physician

If at first you don’t succeed, try and try and try and try and try and try and try again (and then try some more)

Have patience — it ain’t gonna happen with a snap of your fingers (trust me, I have tried)
