Workout 12.11.2012

It was another 7am cross training boot camp day!  I got to the gym about 15 minutes early and warmed up with some walking/sprinting on the treadmill.  Today’s circuit was crazy!!  There were about 12 exercises and 6 rounds.  The exercises included incline sprints (1 min.), kettle bell swings (15), jump rope(400), burpees + box jump(15), and push ups (50), to name a few.  I was going into my third round when the hour was up — there was no way anyone was going to finish in the allotted time but we all still pushed hard to the end.

This workout left me absolutely exhausted for the rest of the day — it has been a while since I have had a workout do that for me!

Tomorrow morning I have a chiropractor appointment (woop! woop!) so I am going to get up early and do an at-home circuit before I leave for the day.  I will post the workout for you in case anyone wants to take her for a spin!

I received this article in my inbox yesterday and I thought I would pass it along.  I haven’t had a chance to read it completely but it gives some great treadmill workouts to bust through the winter blues.  Let me know if you try any of them out!
