Sweaty Circuit.

October 21, 2012

A happy Saturday to you all.

I enjoyed a little extra sleep this morning because I didn’t set my alarm — it was nice.  I took my time eating breakfast and sipping on glorious coffee and I just might have napped a little on the couch.  It was a great way to start the weekend!

Rest assured, though, I still made it to the gym!

Workout 10.20.2012

(only 11 days until Halloween and I have no idea what my costume should be!)

I warmed up with 10 minutes of walking on the treadmill at a 4.0 pace and the incline set at 5%.  I then got everything set up and did this circuit:

I kept the numbers low because I was feeling pretty worn out this morning.  I used a 20 pound kettle bell for the Kettle Bell Swings and a 40 pound barbell for the Squat & Press.  My mile times were as follows:

Mile 1 = 8:21

Mile 2 = 7:47

Mile 3 = 7:34

Three rounds took me 38:37.

It was a good circuit and I am glad I only did 3 rounds — I was wiped out!

The rest of this evening calls for catching up on Homeland and getting some crafting in.

Goodnight, all!
